You'll be warmly welcomed into a safe and calm salon space. Once we get settled, I do a full consultation before treatment begins. Your nail service is then carried out using an electric file (e-file) to remove gel polish or debulk builder gel. Cuticle work and nail plate preparation is also carried out using an e-file and manual tools. When your nails are safely prepared, the gel polish or builder gel is applied and cured under an LED lamp. Gel polish and/or nail art (if chosen) can also be applied over builder gel. Once all nails are safely cured with top coat and finished with cuticle oil, you then rock out of the salon with gorgeous nails!

It gives long-lasting colour and shine for around 2–3 weeks but doesn’t significantly add thickness or structure to the natural nail. Gel polish is ideal if your nails are already healthy, strong, and you simply want colour with a glossy, durable finish. Builder gel, on the other hand, is a thicker, stronger gel designed to add structure, support, and strength to the natural nail. It can reinforce weak or brittle nails, help grow your nails longer without breaking, and even be used to create short extensions. Builder gel can be worn alone for a natural look or finished with gel polish or nail art on top.

Builder gel generally lasts up to 4 weeks before you’ll need a rebalance or removal. Because it’s stronger and more durable than regular gel polish, it tends to hold up very well against daily wear and helps protect the natural nail as it grows out. It's also a great option if you're looking to add more length to your natural nail. Good aftercare like applying cuticle oil regularly, no picking and avoiding using nails as tools is essential to get the most out of your builder gel.
